1537

A shout out here. My 97 F150 threw an engine code 1537. My truck was about 100k over a scheduled oil change so it may have had something to do with it. I looked it up on my OB2 software and my Haynes book and found nothing. I doubt its anything serious, Im curious more than anything and wondering if anyone has come across this and knows what it is

its not the oil. If you havent changed it in 100k then its a crankshaft bearing code.
all kidding aside, the link above should help.

your possibly looking for a leaking vacuum hose on the intake manifold, or toward the passenger side fender well by the battery.
