05 Super Duty A/C problems
My 05 (bought new in May 06) CC 5.4 2WD SD which is under warranty for another 6 months has A/C problems. It quit blowing cold air this past September as I was heading to Idaho for vacation. Ive used the A/C about 6 times since Ive had it. I took it in and they said they found a leak and fixed it. It started out blowing cool but not cold air after they supposedly fixed it. Now if you run the A/C for a hour or 2 , it goes from cool (not cold like it did when it was new) to just blowing air , not even cool anymore. I looked under the hood and it looks like they replaced the part with 2 or 3 aluminum type tubes/hoses on it which is mounted to the firewall on the left hand side. Anyone have any info on what might be wrong before I take it back in ? Thanks in advance.
