Randy, I'll try that out tonight! Jerry, I did mine in sort of reverse order. I convinced her that we should buy a boat, and after we had the boat, figured out that the 97 wouldn't pull it very well...Gee, never figured on that....So, gosh, I'd better get me a Super Duty to pull that!!

Nah, just kidding! She knew I wanted one for years. And she realized that we needed one for the room on vacations, with 5 of us.

So, all you have to do Jerry, is run out and buy a boat that's just a little too much for the 79 to pull!!

Afternoon everyone.... woo hoo, I'm officially the owner of a fine 79 F150! But, the roads are melted a bit here and now it's all dirty

I didn't realize how fun it would be to drive something with a near-new 400 and 4bbl would be Only one glitch I can find at the moment, the blower/fan doesn't seem to work... the guy I got it from is pretty cool about little stuff, so he said he'd take care of any bugs I come across. He wanted me to do the break-in, he figured he if started driving it, someone would run into him or something.

I think I'm sick and need to leave work early... I'm pretty sure the only cure is a 100 mile drive...

Hey Rob,
Congrats on the Truck

Hey Pat,
She said No!! Reason being we need the third seat to keep the kids seperated, well theres always time when kids are out of the house in a few years lol

I got the t-stat back in, and now i have heat for a few then it goes away and stays cold, so im thinking my heater core is plugged

Okay, Jerry. Time to resort to plan "B". Tonight when she is sleeping, just keep wispering in her ear..Excursion...Excursion....Excursion...

You can have your 6.0 and a third seat!!LOL! That's weird with your heater. I'd pull that heater core and give it a check.

Isn't a cargo box on a crew cab truck equivalent to a 3rd row seat?

(comes in real handy when the kids are really acting up!)
