trans question

i believe that i have popped yet another e4od. and my boss just rolled his 01. my question is if his will bold up and work? thanks. when he gets back to town i will be asking him about his hpop and limited slip.

yes the tranny will bolt in but no it wont quite work, there is an extra sensor and the computer programming is a little different. you can use the internals from it to repair yours.

hpop is a direct fit.

and the 10.5 posi is a direct fit

so is the hpop a 17*? i thought bout goin to banks and seeing what i could round up for parts that i will need in the future

If they are the same engine and both 4x4 or 4x2 it will bolt up. The 4R100 has some sensors that the E4OD doesn't, but you can just ignore them. The solenoid bodies are different, you can either swap them or swap the connectors on the wiring harness. I think I remember that some of the pins are in different locations.

Wiring/trs/s-pack connector will be the same.
You have to remove the PWM.
This is done by modding the pump and replacing the s-pack.
As mark stated on the 4x4 vs 2x4
