The Tech at Hellwig got back to me he said the sway bar will probably be OK on the pavement as I have installed it but could snap the end links if I really work the suspension. I think I will keep an eye on it and if I decide to do some hard off roading then I will order the long end-links.
I am also going to check with the Tech at AIR LIFT about their air bags.
I checked with the Tech at AIR LIFT and their air bags will work easier with my set-up since I have a lift. Their air bags install between the Jounce and Bump Stop. For those that are interested in them I found them at www.suspensionconnection.com for $233.95 and www.summitracing.com matched the price and gave me $20 in summitracing bucks.
If the end of the bar is not parrallel to the ground you have the potential of restricting movement by creating a "bind". The result will be unequal performance stability (left compared to right) and the result either bending the sway bar or bending/breaking the end links.
Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I seem to have experienced what Beechkid describes above. I just noticed that the right side end link was no longer attached to the sway bar...I thought my wife or I must of hit something...but what? Well in reading above that makes more sense. I could of sworn I measured the distance on both links when I installed them. Oh well - now I need to get a new link (if one is available) and replace prior to leaving on a trip, towing my trailer. And it needs to happen in the next 2-3 days...any suggestions? This is gonna be fun! Not.

You can fab one yourself using threaded rod, bushings a couple of nuts/washers. But the local auto parts store should be able to find one that will bolt right in- but you also need to find a staff member that has an iq above an ice cude too!
Hellwig should also be able to fedex one to you next day air

You know I was thinking about doing the same kind of engineering - but I called Hellwig yesterday and they were able to warranty it out. Since we are both on the left coast, I should have the new link by tomorrow! Thanks!
