I searched all the battery threads I could find. I found what looked to be the best battery for the money, in my opinion. So Saturday, I replaced my 4 year-old Motorcraft Maxx batteries with Duralast Gold 65-DLG batteries from AutoZone. Made by Johnson Controls, 875CCA, 1000CA, 3 year replacement for $212 out the door. They ranked second in Consumer Reports, the DieHard Platinum ranked #1 but I didn't think they were worth the extra money.
Yep, great batteries. Ive had them in for quite a long time. Believe it or not my stock batteries lasted a lot longer than I thought and this is the only other set Ive ever had. My truck is a 2000...not too bad. Love those Duralasts! I think they were just about that price when I got them as well.
check out the Cableas' AGM Glass matt batteries. pay attn to the reserve hours and the fact that they dont discharge but 1/2 of 1% per month of their energy if they are left sitting and not used. That means a fully charged battery when you need it. they are expensive but they are worth it.
Thanks guys I'm probably gonna go with whats cheapest in my area, I havn't went and looked yet, but I did go to the local auto parts store and they told me that my batteries were shot. Again Thanks for the quick responses.

WalMart and Costco will have the lowest prices, unless you can find them on sale somewhere. Both those places were $75 each, the next cheapest one I found with the same rating (850cca/1000ca) were $20 more a piece. I tried Schucks, Napa, AutoZone, Sears, Costco, and WalMart.
For stock batts, go to WalMart, $75 each and if you need warranty stores are everywhere.
For more $ you can go to larger industrial batts (check to see if they'll fit first) or Optimas.
I did just what you did..............went to Wal-Mart...........they seem fine after two days.......
