Same situation as Jack

6.6 into a 92 OBS 7.3NA with a 4wd ZF5. I love the 6.6 Brazilian. It's superior to the 7.8 because its a thicker block, closed deck with smaller bores. More material around those cylinders. In my opinion its just as good as an old "p pump cummins" just not as trendy so you can get them cheap. The power potential is astounding. All mechanical, inline 6, inline Bosch pump. Beautiful platforms.

I need to know if Jack ever followed through. I'm thinking about trying to mate one to the zf5. Which clutch & flywheel to use though? The zf5 or the 6.6. Either way i anticipate lots of modification. I'll make my own adapter plate with 1/4 steel plate. Move the radiator if needed, raise the body, etc.
If I use the 6.6 flywheel/clutch that zf5 output shaft would have to be identical... If i use the zf5 clutch/flywheel that flywheel would have to line up to the 6.6 mounting holes. Plus longer bolts and spacers to componsate for the adapter plate thickness.

I can't really anticipate what else there would be as far as complications. Obviously little stuff like exhaust and fuel line but that's no big deal.
