Which body mounts to use

I posed this in the slick forum with no result so maybe you guys can help.

Which year body mounts will be best for slappin a 66 cab on high-boy chassis?

Seems like the 66 kit is cheaper than the 73-79 stuff. What I need is the right stuff the first time as I am doing the swap at Christmas break and need to finish it up ASAP after I start the swap?

Doing Similar Swap!

Todd jo,

Keep me informed on how your swap goes. I am doing the same body swap. I will ask a friend of mine about the cab mounts and let you know what he says. By the way, I am in Oregon also.

what we did

We used the 12" poly boat trailer rollers...have 5/8" holes... and cut them with a power mitre saw..came out real clean and square...
put in some washers...
made them about 1.25" high so far...
cab is working out great...
cant wait to do the grill and fenders.

so far about 40.00 in cost and they come in colors...
