Fixed it.
It was the fuel pump. Still have to drive it a bit more as I emptied out the fuel line going up the carb and it put some air in the filter.
However, after changing out the clutch and fixing this problem, it appears my car is A LOT faster than I remember. Dangerously so. About a 10-20mph difference in a two block stretch (including breaking).
