I am thinking of getting a nice big shiney housing for the 6637 and bolt it to the fender much like a BIG TRUCK has, will this work??

I'm sure it would, assuming it doesn't leak. Where would you mount it though? If you hang it off the side, that makes your truck about a foot wider. If you put it above the hood, looking around it would not be fun. Now, if you could mold the fender on the top side and set the filter inside the fender, on the outside, with a scoop to catch the air while going down the highway, that would be cool. That would be a good project for a body man.
