need help with this 1990 rollback with boom . just replaced the 351 winsor with the same . every thing went well except for a small anti-freeze leek comin from the back of the motor . Also put new cluch assembly in, and cluch master . And cluch still low . ( internal slave)Now my front end ,had mad work put into it . upper/lower ball joints ,lower arm bushing front shocks ,axle pivot bushings , and alignment . So now , my qusetion is , why do I keep hering a knock coming from the passenger side front wheel well . Only when I hit bump . Thanks just wanting to keep this truck in good shape . the last owner didn`t .
check and retighten the upper and lower shock mounts, if even slightly less than totally tight they can make some incredible noise. i saw a new dodge a few years back it sounded like major stuff was breaking and all it was was a slightly loose shock
thanks team , I`am on it . how about that hydralic cluch . having a hard time bleeding it
Look under the dash at the clutch rod. I bet you have a really warbled out end causing the clutch problem. when looking underneath. move the pedal up and down. (the freeplay) you will probably see the looseness. https://www.ford-trucks.com/article/...eshooting.html
