do you guys think that 325-65-18 mickey thompson baja claw tires will fit on my 04 f 150 with a leveling kit. i just wonder if they will rub? any one running this same size tire on a truck?
I have aftermarket wheels with a 2.5" leveling kit and tried the Coopper STTs in a 325/60R18 and it did not work. They rubbed at full lock just about everywhere. So I would say it will not work but some other people may have had a different experience. I have heard that 35 x 12.5 will work but I think the 325 is just to wide at 13.3 inches.
no on the Baja Claws in that size...not even sure a 305 width Baja Claw would work.
the extreme side lugs are the deciding factor. a 315 and 325 width are about 99% likely to rub on the upper control arm.
I had the Toyo M/T and Cooper STT in a 35x12.5x18 test fitted on my truck. no rubbing from lock to lock using the OEM wheels. but both tires were 1/4" from rubbing the upper control arm. Between the price and anxiety, I didn't buy them...wish I had though. they looked friggin' awesome
