Do you recommend any good self taught reloading books?
Can't say I have advice for you there. I can't even remember back to when I first started reloading.
I live close to Lyman Products and know they have a beginners "Intro to reloading" video.
Also a pretty comprehensive reloading manual....
All presses come with an operating manual, and things are too specific to brand for me to help you there. I think it best to try and find a 'mentor' like Mike to show you the ropes at first.
Keep a detailed log, weigh and measure your handloads accurately, and always watch your cases for signs of deterioration.
Oh c'mon...if you have nothing to hide, a little (or a lot) violation of the 4th ain't so bad. But violating the 2nd is just un-American rat dare.
I'm not sure if you're joking there or not, Ben.

There's no such thing as an acceptable amount of violation of any part of the constitution. It is the supreme law of the land. Period.
Last April I finally decided to join the NRA and you can bet I will be stocking up before Feb. 2009. I just wish I had enough money to buy a BMG for future deer hunting fun
I understand your feeling and I think we kind of broached that in another thread a couple of weeks ago, but we'll have to let it stand at that in the interest of keeping this thread here in GNAC.
Steve...for the most part I was joking. And I don't think there should be any violations against myself. However, if it takes something like the PATRIOT Act to make myself, family, friends, country safer...I have no issue with that. Because if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.
That's what the gun control advocates will say. Making you safer.
