Is it not possible for anyone to talk anything they dont like here with out draging Obama into something to cry about......election is over and more people cry about a man who was just elected days ago than the problems caused by bush FOR 8 YEARS..The millions of folks who are OUT OF WORK dont have money for guns, why not bring up this issue?

I think that most good quality guns will give you good ammo control.

PRESIDENT Bush has not tried to take our right to have guns away from us. We are afraid that PRESIDENT-ELECT Obama has exactly that in mind for the future. Do you read these threads before you post?

If they are stolen and a crime is done using them the person that had them stolen should be charged also. As far as dealing with cops and law officiers you will need something alot more powerful than guns. Maybe you should make your own home made rocket launchers or bombs if you really want some power. Its really easy to do.
Ship boy,If your guns are locked up properly, they arent likely to be stolen.
If your car is stolen, and then used in a crime, should you be charged?
I dont know where you get some of these ideas...........

Dont you get the fact that gun issues and Obama go hand in hand.....The Ghetto scum who have been out of work for my entire lifetime(Because there too lazy to work) will continue to get guns from there fellow low-lifes or by stealing.Ive heard plenty of people cry about Bush, more than have cryed over Obama.........Millions of folks out of work and money for guns, they dont have any relationship.

As far as firearms for home defense,my first choice is a Glock 22 with night sights, and a streamlight m6 laser/tactical light under the barrel....Ive also got an FN 12G pump short barrel w a full length mag tube, and a tactical light on the front.

I picked up my Bushmaster 5.56/.223 last Saturday. I've been looking for one for awhile now and just finally got off the pot and bought it.

You're an intersesting guy, furball! I may have to look into these books. The Home Gunsmith is fascinating. How hard is it to make the Luty 9mm gun in the pictures?

Talking

For home defense I have a modified 20 guage using 'special" shells the shells have had the small pellets removed and replaced with 3 36 cal round ***** . It would be like getting shot 3 times with a 38 special at the same time. My other guns are black powder pistols and a old 410 . The 20 gauge is loaded beside my bed where I have a silent alarm that LETS ME KNOW SOMEONE HAS ENTERED MY SHOP BUT DOESNT LET THEM KNOW I KNOW...

That BSP, from what I understand, is a prototype that hasn't been built even 'supposedly' by the designer. That said, I have seen the plans and it looks pretty easy with lots of off the shelf stuff for parts. A water jet cutter or CNC mill and access to good tool steel would make it ideal though.

Yeah, but how does it pattern on a target? there should be room in a 20G shell for more than 3 .36 *****,so im wondering if youve taken it out to the range to see how it actually works....Im also not sure that you will get the velocity or energy out of these pellets that you would get out of a conical bullet fired out of a .38 special.

This here is a bad idea. Whenever you shoot someone, God forbid, there is going to be an investigation. Now this isn't me talking, I'm repeating the gun magazine cautionary advice. If it turns out you have "custom made" some varmint killling ammo, that gets you the eye a little more. Eager to kill, are you? And then there are the relatives of the dead guy. You can be cleared of criminal charges and still face a "wrongful death" suit. (Ask OJ...) So the evidence is you cooked up some savage killing load...you obviously dreamed at night about killing this fellow---you see how it is.

Buy standard buck shot, or even slugs, or the Glaser type ammo. Off the shelf, standard, "thought nothing of it" ammo. Test fire it, know it, hope the day never comes to use it. Less chance of blowing up your gun, too.

not jmo, but plenty of others too.

Good luck to you.

One piece of advice for those who have weapons with a built in tactical flashlight such as my Remmy 870 P-Max. If you suspect something especially outside, do not use the light on the weapon to search. If it happens to be an innocent party or such, they can have you charged for pointing a weapon at them. I know someone right now who is in very serious trouble for this.
