S code V10 engine?????
I am looking at some parts online, and they want to know if the engine block is a "S engine coded block"
. What does that mean, I have never heard of this.

Because they don't care what year it is, they just want to know "2-valve or 3-valve"... 
This can be confusing for them after 2005, because there are Excursions and E-series vans that come with the 2-valver.

I thought the 8th digit of the VIN gave the engine code???? Like the 10th digit gives the year.

Is there anything / anywhere in writing where it states that vin code S is a 2-valve engine>?
I bought a used V10 engine, I specified that needs to be with 8th vin code S and they still sent me a 3 valve, so now I am battling with them to give me a refund, but I need to show them proof

The W is the Windsor, Assembly Plant in Ontario. The VIN codes are clear about which engine it is. Who is questioning you?
