2015 E350 V10 torque convertor issue?

New to this forum, really good info here thanks.

I wanted to know if this looks is a leak, maybe from the torque convertor?

it feels dry to the touch. But I haven’t driven it in about 3 months.

I know it’s pretty dirty, but RV lives at the end of a 6 mile dirt road.

Any advice would be appreciated

To me that doesn't look like a leak from any part of the transmission, looks more like engine oil leaking from higher up on the engine. You don't mention what vehicle you're dealing with but if it has a dog house remove it and look for oil leaks from the valve covers or possibly between the head and the block. Remove the bolted on inspection cover at the front of the transmission seeing if anything shows signs of leakage.

A torque converter leak would be dripping after sitting that length of time.

your advice was really helpful. It’s an RV, and after removing the doghouse I took some more photos. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like it’s the valve cover.

It would have been more helpful had you listed the engine you have. I'm assuming its a Modular Motor and if that's the case you have a somewhat benign engine oil leak between the head and the block. These are somewhat common and for the most part present no huge danger or concern.

The leak you see from the passenger side rear is replicated on the driver's side although its behind the front cover, the oil running down into the oil pan. Modular Motor right and left side heads are the same casting and for a few years had this issue. I owned a 2003 E-250 w/5.4 with this same problem.

You can clean any oil and dust/dirt residue from the engine and head to help monitor this situation. Be certain to check your engine oil level regularly when driving (fuel stops, etc) and you shouldn't have any real issues. Any sudden oil loss over a short time period typically points to the PCV assembly failing, easily fixed by installing a new part.
