I have a 2008 F-150 Lariat SuperCrew and I have been looking for towing mirrors that can attach to my existing mirrors. I have not been able to find anything that fits at any auto parts stores or even the RV dealers in the Philadelphia area. Can anyone suggest something that fits? All the attachable temporary mount units that I tried don't fit the bottom mirror housing because it contains the auxiliary turn signals at the bottom of the mirror. The clips aren't big enough and won't attach properly. **** has several units that fit the 08 F-150, but not the SuperCrew model. Thanks for any help you can give me.
I'd love them except for the price of the conversion. We will only be towing a trailer about a month out of the year and I was hoping for something that can be put on and remove quickly and easily when needed. Your's look great and I wish I would have gotten them when I bought the truck but I didn't think that far ahead.
I ended up replacing my '07 mirrors with Telescopic Trailer Tow Mirrors by Schefenacker. Telescopic Trailer Tow Mirror by Visiocorp. I tried a set of Hensly tow mirrors that are auxilary mirrors that hook into window channel and have a strap that connects to the door bottom. They didn't stick out far enough for my trailer (25 ft. Airstream). I hope those ones from the F150 parts store work for you. They're a lot cheaper.
