I would like to find some of those mirrors that just add on to your existing mirrors for towing. I don't want anything permanent and I don't want to spend the money for the telescoping mirrors. Any know of any out there that just attach to your existing mirrors for towing? I have the power mirrors without heat or blinker. Thanks.
yes, ciba makes a very good slip on towing mirror. it will fit the power mirror and it won't block your mirror turn single lights. i bought mine to tow my 30ft traval trailer, it cost $80.00 at the rv dealer.
I bought a set of mirror extensions that attach to the existing mirror face with a sucton cup. I was a little hesitant at first, but they work great. I can't remember the brand because I threw out the packaging, but I picked them up at a RV store. What sold me on them is that since these extensions attached to the face of the existing mirror with a 2&1/2" suction cup (trust me, they will not fall off), you can use your power mirrors to adust them....this works particularly well for me because I store our TT along the side of the house, and because I can move them using the power mirrors, I can easily see where I am in relation to my roof overhang of the house. I try and get the brand name.
I got my Ciba slip on mirrors, for my 06, from a guy on e-bay for 41.00 including shipping.
They fit great and they have an outstanding field of vision.
With slip on mirror, either Ford's or Ciba's, there is no reason to look at anything else. Other universal style mirros are available, but the slip ons have a great fit and take all of 30 seconds to install.
Those Ciba ones look like what I am looking for. Is there a big difference between those and the Ford ones? Now I just need to find a good price because the cheapest I have seen so far is $60 plus shipping. How do they attach to the mirror? Are they just slipped on or is there something that actually holds them on?
With the Ford Mirrors, you're paying for the Ford name. Ford accessories.com has some good prices. Look around. Check eBay. Check else where on the web.

I doubt you will find any Ford ones for less then I sell them for, but I guess you never know!
