i've searched posts but cant find from last winter(mine was still working) several people put a solid mount receptacle kinda like a rv or trailer plug for their block heater in the bumper but can't find it any help and anyone who has done this would be great thanks
thanks this forum continues to amaze me with info and help my son is driving this truck and magically the wire at the plug sparks now when he plugs it in the boat thing rings a bell from last year from a battery charge receptacle gonna try a boat dealer tomorrow any more help or pics would help i'll see if he can post pic of this obs truck,'dads not able to do pics lol thanks again
Here is the install thread with a link to the article I used. Everything else is pretty well covered except my plug didn't get ripped off. Its just a pain to use with the plow hooked up and fish it out the grill every day.
I put one in a couple of winters ago. The hardest part is drilling a hole through
a perfectly good bumper!
They do look great and work very well. So much cleaner than that plug hanging out through the grill.
