I've got a 04 F150 XLT 5.4L and was wondering if the Superchip Flashpaq or the Edge Evolution was a better overall programmer. I'm getting one mainly to adjust my rev limiter and speedometer for 35" tires and to clear trouble codes (check engine light for o2 sensors since I have no cats) and the like.
from what i've heard, the superchip is a useless POS, the edge is a good one. i've got a SCT Xcal3 and i like it. you can change all the parameters that you're looking to do...
Ive got an edge evo that i had in my 04 SCrew... I am getting rid of the truck so i am selling the programmer too... send me an email if interested.. I would like to get 300 for it.. shoot me an offer tho.. jproudog@hotmail.com Thanks
i had an edge evo and a k&n CAI on my 04 f150 4x4 screw, i loved it, it would clear codes, and it would compensate for larger tires, i upgraded to an 08 f150 4x4 screw, i let an my gadgets go with the old truck, really missed the programmer, and CAI. So i just ordered both for my new truck, should be here in a week! if you can get that one from JTProuhet, it's a deal, i know this year they went up about $100.00 for the edge evo! so i'm having to pay for it! But i really like the one i had in my old truck!
