Towing mirrors

Towing mirrors
I am looking for some towing mirrors for my 01' X but I am having a hard time finding them. Someone I talked to mentioned putting mirrors from a newer X or super duty. Will they fit on my 01'? I don't see why not, the body style isn't different. If not what's the difference?

i ahve done some searches but I haven't found anything. I have power, heated and turn signal integrated mirrors now. I am going to call the dealership today to see if newer towing mirrors will fit.

Sure you're searching correctly??
All tow mirrors, both 99-07 and 08+ mirrors will fit. There is some minor wiring plug differences but all the wire colors match up.

You might try EBAY. A couple of years ago I looked and found several 'take off' sets and finaly won a set of nice ones for my '04' EX that I am using today. It was an easy install and they had everything including heating. I think it was about $325 of $350 that I paid for the set.
