Hey Joe I was at Kragen yesterday getting a belt, and they had Rotella 5w40 for $18.99 a gal. I actually got a pic for you from my phone but forgot my phone today. Anyway I was shocked they must not have gotten the message yet. I would still go with schaeffers though, but I thought it was crazy to see it so cheap there.

OK, now that I have my ducks in order I can post what I wanted to last night.
Pete, your first analysis on the report dated 5/14 was with the series 9000 CI-4 plus spec oil. The second & most recent report (dated 10/21) is with the newer series 9000 CJ-4 spec oil. Thus the difference in the additive packages. Then new CJ-4 spec oil has a more magnesium than the previous spec.

Great! Thanks for clearing up that bit of info. I had not even considered the change in specs, nor even been aware of the change. My dealer may have mentioned it when I picked up this last case of oil, but I honestly just do not remember.
