I am trying to put in a new drivers side widow motor, but the motor needs to be installed with rivets. I have never used a revit gun before so any advice(what size rivets, etc) would be helpful. Thanks.
Hmmm.... it should just be three small bolts holding the motor in. You should be able to see on of the bolts through the opening near the motor. The other two can be accessed by drilling two small holes.
As far as i know, just the regulator is riveted to the door.
Skip the rivets and use some short bolts and nuts. I went through the same thing, but could never find the right rivets to work with the holes in the door. I gave up and used bolts.

+1.. you'll need a big commercial riveter for these things and it's simply not worth it. Get some automotove fasteners with captive nuts and cut the bolts down so they don't contact the regulator...
See, now the OP said he's replacing the "window motor". What i get out of that is that he's replacing just the motor. Why would he want to go through the hassle of removing rivets for the regulator?
