Weatherstrip Adheasive

What is the best was to remove unwanted adheasive and still salvage the paint underneath?

I don't know for sure that this stuff will work on weatherstrip, but try some stuff called "goo gone" It seems to work well on tacky stuff, but doesn't destroy finishes.

When I tore my cab apart, I wasn't worried about finish, so I can't say exactly what will work on weatherstrip.

YOu can use thinner on the rubber itself and reducer on the vehicle. Get both at an autobody supply.
