Question 6.0 intercooler

If i am going to be putting in an 6.0 intercooler i know that some had plastic ends or something and some were all aluminum i think. Should i go with the all metal one or is the one with plastic end just fine?

Only the first 7.3 IC's had metal end tanks, later 7.3's and all the 6.0's have plastic ends.
