Visit your local International truck dealer, or order one online from DP-Tuner dot com.

1821720C99 is what is in the pic above, and the one I bought. It cost me $52.10 + tax from the International dealership. It's snowing out right now, but I may just suck it up and put it in in a few minutes since I'll likely be driving it tomorrow.

I had someone ask me for the part number, and have stumbled across something interesting. According to our lovely search function the IH part number for our trucks is 1825899C93. When I read the box from DP I see this

More search reveals this looks to be the CPS for the OBS trucks. I can't argue with the improvements it made on my truck, but now this has me wondering.

For any others that have used the black IH model. Do you know which part number you used? Anyone know the difference between these parts? I'm going to shoot Jody an email and see what he has to say.
There's a very similar thread going on over at the Nation. When the above point was made, this was one of the response posts:

"I went and had a nice long talk with my IH buddy about this. Had some time to kill...and drooled over the new Lone Star diecast truck...but I digress...

The base number represents the part...in this case 1821720. Any parts that begin with this number are completely interchangable.

The Cxx represents the iteration of the part. In this case...the C93 was the first iteration of the part. The last iteration was C99. C99 is the latest and greatest iteration of this part.

He looked up 1821720C99 for me...and it rolls over now to a completely different part number. He went and got it for me...and its the grey cps.

So...any 1821720Cxx sensors out there are wholly compatible with the 7.3L motor...OBS or Superduty...and they are the black cps.

He has a call placed into IH to find out exactly what was different in the "iterations" for me. It got him to thinking as well.

Anyway...the cps you got from Jody is just fine for your truck. No worries..."

Jody told me the same thing when I asked the same question.

I spent some time at the IH dealer today, and I am now very confused. I got one that says 1876736c91. then he said he had the other one that had the number 1821720C99 for 54 bucks. The first one was 27. he then went on to tell me in the computer this 187 model is the old number for the 182 number. this CPS I got (187) has the numbers 1821720 stamped right on it. I looked at both in the shop and they were identical. I hope this thing works. I hate changing this thing, last time I almost stripped it out.

What do you mean you dont know, 4200 psts in a year and 10 months, and you dont know....... Come on. Honestly though joking aside, he could not tell me why they were a different price. He just said old part numbers converged to new numbers. I think ill be on the safe side and do more research before I install it.

Can someone let me know what OBS means? Does it have to do with the motor? I think I have a july 98 build date. I called another international dealer, and he quoted me #1876735C91. LOL I think Im going to get the C99 from international for 54 bucks and call it done.
