I have a key scratch on the passengers side of my King Ranch. I need touch up paint to fix it. is it readily available? I have a brown 2004 King ranch. Has anyone ever fixed a scratch that is not down to the primer but deep enough to feel with a finger nail?
Is it all the way through the clear coat? If not, try using a medium buffing compound and see how that does. Touch up paint will probably just make it look worse.
there MAYBE afix.. I had some scratches on my white king ranch and a friend used a mixture of white tooth paste and baking soda ..mixed up good and rubbed the scratches out buf with dry cloth and then applied a coaxt of wax lo and behold scratches gone...you may want to try..........the wine maker
Heard from a friend about Quixx scratch remover. bought at wally world, tried it on a small section of the scratch behind the cab in between the bed and the cab. it worked a little to remove where it wasnt too deep, only problem....it requires you to wetsand the truck....I am really scared to start sanding this great paint job. friend tells me to touch up the scratch and then use this stuff, without the wetsand step and the scratch will be gone. That is the route I think I am going to try next. BTW I tried this Quixx stuff on a scratch on the tailgate and it is gone with just using the two part system, no sanding...amazing...I have been looking at this little scratch for years and it is gone....15.00 at wally world.
