Need a trans flush writeup
Good morning guys and gals. Well its about that time, and the 7point3 writeup is long since gone. Any body got a writeup on the 20 qt. method?
Guess i should ask a question bout this while I'm at it. Went to home depot yesterday, and was pulling away and truck stuck in first (didn't shift when it was supposed to). It wasn't very exagerated but i realized it. Pulled over when i could and check trans fluid (temp was ~130 F). Was just barely touching the Hot line. So i added what I had left (half quart maybe). Came up a lil, but was still not at the top of the Hot line. Even before i filled the trans up, it did not do the first gear stick again. Shifting seemed fine when i got to the nearest parking lot (1/4 mile). Looked at trans pan and seems to be a very and i mean VERY slight leak, so i wanna replace the gasket to make sure, hence why i want to do the flush. You think I'm ok?
