Man this sucks...........I just installed some switches for my rear lights, under the cab rock crawling lights, and behind the grill Hella's. I put the switches where most of you have the 4x4 selector switch. Now I GOTTA buy this thing to do it right! Looks awesome fellas. Any thoughts on patching the dash where there are three 3/4" holes?

Yep i had to patch up a hole from my old switch install. (4 rockers on a St. steel plate down in the panel by your left knee) I made a false back, filled with bondo, sanded primed and painted heres a couple of pics, I still need to clean up the fix, and from the pic I see just a tiny but of primer that needs to be hidden. ill get to that today....
Very nice fix Brandon. I think I'll try that after I get my parts ordered and see if that new piece will work with my floor shifter. From your pics earlier, it looks like the shifter will clear.
I don't see any PM on this forum. How do I go about ordering from you?
if you do not see the big black logo in my signature then go to www.ftepartsguy.com or if you do see the big logo just click on that and it will take you to my web site.
You might consider not using that 3M electrical tap- they can be quite problematic. Instead, use a butt connector or solder with shrink for a much more reliable connection.
[COLOR=black]I am in the process of installing this dash but have run into a snag. I see the two very top screws are overlapped by the upper dash panel. It seems I need to remover the radio (to access the screws above it) to be able to pull this upper dash back far enough to access the top two lower dash screws. I have been trying like crazy to remove the radio with a standard DIN radio removal tool and it just won’t do it! Thoughts? Ideas? Do I really have to remove the radio to get this done? Thanks
Brian you don't have to pull the whole dash off. Go over to the right corner, near where the cig lighter / power port is, pull it away from there. you can pull the bottom of the upper dash out enough to get to the screw heads easily.
