brandon how much you figure that whole setup run? i would love to do that to mine... Is it strong enough to mount a cb on the bottom?
~$60 for the panel
$90 for the switches
~$8 for misc electrical supplies
$60 for the guages
$20 for brass T fittings
$7 for the paint
$5 for bondo
$10 for misc shop supplies (sand paper, sanding block, primer)
$20 for the beer
Now, most of that I already had laying around, but thats what it would break down to if you had to go out and buy it all.
Looks great Brandon and Chris!! I have to get some measurements on the manual 4x4 lever and my salt spreader controller will have to be relocated, but that looks great you two.
You can always add the 05-07 lower dash with the 4 toggle switches.

I've done this and it wasn't too hard at all.
Check out my gallery for upfitter install what shows the panel and switch install. I went with this because of the factory switch look. If I didn't want to mount my CB under the switches in the recessed area, I'd have seriously considered doing the F650 panel. I'm thinking about changing the panel to the one that has the drives side 'glove box' in it so I can mount my CB inside of it. That way when not in use, I can close the door and nobody knows it 's there!
Ryan, where the switches are in the panel, is that just a opening or are the switches attached to the panel? I had wanted to do mine that way but couldnt find the panel without the glovebox. Where did you find yours? Also if it just an opening in the panel, how big is that opening? I'm wondering if my Carling switches would fit in there, because now that I have them I wanna keep them.
Call your local Ford big (fleet) truck dealer:
Ford Part number is 4C4Z-7004302-BA
Ordered mine today from a local Ford dealer that has a truck shop and they said that the part # didnt come up.
Brandon, do you know what year model yours was from? You gotta stop doing mods cause seeing yours makes the PMS kick in.
They told me the price was $50(wholesale) so its on the way. Will probably go with air pressure guage cause I plan on adding bags and an electric fuel pressure guage instead of doing a cowl mount.
