I have a 2000 f250 and the turn signals stopped working. The emergency flashers still work fine. I took the multi-function switch apart and cleaned all the green goo out and put dielectric grease on the contacts But still not working. I think if the relay wasn't working the emergency flashers would not work. I took it apart again and lightly sanded the contacts but it didn't help. Any help would be great.

Emergency flasher uses a completely different circuit - namely, the brake lights.
Dielectric grease is NOT CONDUCTIVE
Check all the fuses, even the flasher itself. Could be the flasher if both sides are not working.
All this messing around with the multi-function switch and it turned out to be the flasher. I don't know why the flasher would work for the emergency flashers but not for the turn signals. All is good now. Thanks for the help!

PS, I always use synthetic blinker fluid!!!

Because there are two flashers, one for the directionals, one for the emergency flashers?
I have the same issue but mine is a dead short somewhere. Sometimes it grounds out the circuit, other times it doesn't. But every time it blows the fuse. I'm sure it will be a fun one to find
