Would this really be noticeable?

Im thinking of running 235/60 15 on 8 inch rims on the front of my truck and 295/50 15 on 10 inch rims on the back. Would u really notice the difference in the tires as its goin down the road or from it sitting there? The difference in section width is only 2.7 inches.

The width is 60mm difference, which is roughly 2.3" wider. So if they can see the width of the tires at all, then yes. If all you can see is the profile then probably not, but because of their distance apart, it's a good bet the tread width will be visible.

Just for an example, the vettes used to use different rears and I could tell both stopped and rolling.

I think the fronts will be tucked in the fender while the rears will stick out past the fenders, but not quite sure.

That's tuneable with the offset on the wheels. To start with, measure the distance from the axle hub to the fender's edge.

any one behind you will know. and keen observers will know,

tuck them in and itll be really cool.

fyi those wide tires float on snow. youll want a skinny set for winter. just my experience from 2 years at a tire shop.
