Well...I know that a 33-inch BFG AT will fit on my 78 Bronco but rims abound with different backspacings. For a good 33/12.5/15 fit on my 78 what rim backspacing would insure minimum rub. I plan to run a 15 x 10 American Racing polished aluminum rim.

Around 3" backspacing should do the trick.

Yeah that sounds about right. Most aftermarket rims come around 3-4" of backspacing.
It just depends on the company or model for the backspacing.
