I have a problem with my headlight switch. I am installing a keyless system as my 08 came with power locks but not keyless. After hooking it all up not only am I not getting the power locks to work but I can't get my parking lights to turn off. Real weird. I hooked the parking light wire from my remote system to the white/violet wire at the headlight switch. But I think it burned out the switch and thats why my parking lights won't turn off. Now first question is, if thats the case where am I suposed to tap into my parking lights so I don't burn out the switch again? Second question is, since I apparently need a new switch can I upgrade to a DRL switch? Is my truck already wired for that so all I would need is the switch? Last question refers back to the power lock issue. Does anyone know what kind of electrical lock system these 08's have? I hear it maybe different depending on whether the truck came with keyless or not. Thanks yall.
