I agree with ya John; but that product has work twice to three times for me and I beleive it is as strong and the old plastic casing on the wheels; I stand corrected on the type of paint its not rusteloum but Krylon Fusion.

I used plastic bead at low pressure, but I would think a real thorough scuffing with a scotchbrite pad would do ya. You have to be real careful if you media blast it because the rubbery material will erode away easily. It seems to me that the 4 spokes are sort of rubbery, whereas the 3 spokes are more like a hard plastic. Either way, when using media blasters, its easy to do more harm than good.
i new i missed somthing after 4 mo.absenty of this site /i blew more than my coffee and hearing the chevies rust in the moonlight that does it crack me up >ps. boat apoxy resin +matting tape works great to>or they do have[ plastic /welding]> restorers i've heard of in the buss out there if everything else fails !!
