No, my truck no longer has a window setting, lol..
The sound was a big part of it, plus another thing is that in the next few months/ year the 7.3 market is really starting to fire up again, new technology in the injectors im trying out that make them operate super-fast, supposedly instead of the power falling off at 2800, i'll be able to fuel hard up to 4000rpm. Thats why it really needs balanced!

Is this new stuff somthing you can talk about? or is it hush-hush?
Well since you are being the guinepig lets hope it all works out and you make a 7.3L break through. So who will be tuning this beast? Jody's F6 or something else?
Kris now that its all torn apart any thoughts on selling the bts and throwing in a beefed up ZO-6 or some wicked stickshift tranny in there? The bts im sure can handle it but that setup would be insane fun with a stick

You know, I wondered how mine would sound, and I can honestly tell you now that it's running, mine does not sound like a ricer at all. There's no raspy note in my exhaust It's got the deep rumble off idle and sounds like the older VP pumped 24V Cummins engines, even in the upper RPM's where the raspy note of a CR is typically most prevalent. It certainly doesn't sound like most every other CR I've ever heard. I think it's got something to do with the cam changing the exhaust valve timing.
Kris, I honestly hope that the 7.3 market really does open up for you soon. My concern is 'they' have been saying for the last three or more years that this year is going to be the big year for the 7.3, yet it never seems to happen. Hopefully this time is different. If it all really does come to market, you'll have the foundation for a wicked bad engine.
No kidding. Kris is already going to have a potent power plant under the hood that should kick some serious tail. Now imagine if the vendors come through with the stuff they're talking about. It would get even more insane.
dammit dammit dammit. This SOOO reminds me of when I had my stang and dreamt of a bored/stroked 351W to replace the 302. I drooled and dreamed and planned how I'd do it for years. When it finally happened, it was like I was king of the road. It wasn't stroked, but it was bored. All I had to do was put a radical cam, intake, & heads on it. I never got that far, unfortunately.
Makes me want to start picking up parts here & there to have a bad-*** 7.3 like Kris' one day... Can't wait to hear how yours does, man!!

Something else.... Chips are for sale if anyone is interested.
Basically the holdup is the slow injectors not wanting to do much over 2800. The faster you can let them fill with oil and fuel, and dump it out, the quicker they can operate. Basically im just getting some internal fuel plate porting and SHO mods done to the oil side to get the oil out of the injector faster. I have enough fuel for around 800hp if i can clean it all up, probably with the assistance of nitrous oxide, if i want to keep AC i can't get too wild with the turbo's in the future or it just won't fit under the hood. Casserly is modifying them, BTW. He's who built them originally. Take a look at this video, my truck will sound exactly like this. Same injector mods, (his are 400 B codes, mine 325 hybrids, not as much fuel), but same turbo, same headers, same built engine, tuning etc. This is at 4200 rpm and he's still pulling very hard
Look at the fenderwell at the end of the video too.
