Haven't used one, but seriously considered them prior to just going with a full lift kit. Basically the leveling kit will consist of longer springs for the front and possibly shocks.
I installed taller front coil springs on my 95 f150 4x4 about a year ago and it makes a big differance in appearance etc.. You have to buy longer shocks,I bought a set for the rear also.I also replaced my radius arm bushings while I had the front end tore down.In case your wondering,I put 32/11.50/15 BFG ALL Terrain T/A on,with minor trimming to plastic valance.Good Luck Windsor
I installed Skyjacker front leveling coils on my '95 bronco. They are great, ride good and didn't have to replace shocks. A alignment will need to be done with offset camber/caster bushings. I clear 33x9.5 BFG MT's with no other mods.
LAST EDITED ON 11-Dec-00 AT 02:33 AM (EST)[p]When I bought my truck, it had a 2-1/2"(I think) Trailmaster suspension lift in it.(95 F-150 shortbed) I just took the lift blocks out of the rear end, and now it sits perfectly level. 33x12.50's Tom
Where did you guys purchase your leveling coils from? How much do they cost? did you replace all 4 shocks up front when you swapped the springs? I am planning on installing a 3" body lift on my truck but before I do it I want to level out the truck. With the front end lower it really gives an illusion that the rear tires are much smaller because of the extra clearance in the rear. Leveling the truck will make it look tons better, but I have been unable to locate a leveling kit from anywhere.
