i still say its the ivs/tps relationship that is your issue, i think the tp voltage is over .85 before the ivs trips off.

So what should I be seeing out of both. I'm with you, I think they are outta whack too. But I also noticed today that it's jumpy in and out of the throttle before I let off the pedal. It may be too much ICP.

Might have something to do with the edge fliter IPR.
It could slow the oil to the drain.
IICR a tps of 1.5 before IVs sets will cel.
I was running .8v for idle TPS. Have good luck now
running .63v. Idles like a timex.

Same as the pedal mod. Just adjusted it in idle mode.
Then grind for the WOT voltage you want.
IICR i set it 3.7 for WOT. Never could get 4v out of the TPS.

thanks for saying my truck is a fungus on wheels man. LoL. the only thing it infects is the ozone that the black smoke comes in contact with. LoL.

Now, do i have to wind up the tps or just stick it on there? i'm nervous dealing with the dang tps now that i already messed up one of them. LoL

Just put it on there. Why don't you bring it to the shop Sat. night and we'll deal with it. I'm probably gonna do Heath's VP44. So tell Matt too.

I swapped it to see if it changed the long crank to start. I need to put my 02 IPR back in as well.
So are you running 2 edge filters ?..

Is there one upstream in the pump?....

Like Bill said ,,may be restricting the drain...

I would think so Rick. As you know it was moved off
of the IPR and into the pump. Its a restriction. It keeps
the oil cleaned going to the IPR. With one in the pump
and one on the IPR it has a higher restriction of oil flow to
the drain. It will be harder for it to bleed off oil pressure.
The 17* will push more oil than the 15*. Duck states its a
modded 17*. A WAG on "modded" means even more oil.

You might see it in a scan if its the issue.
The ICP will be high with a low IPR duty. 0% is a wide open drain.

i cant recall what my max tp is, but i know its over 4.0, i think its 4.3X. i have the ngs so i will get the readings on mine in the morning before work. also, if i recall your ipr at idle should be roughly 11-12% on hot oil.

to do my pedal mod i just cut the pedal stop out and replaced it with a peice of 1/4 inch diameter all thread, that made the max almost perfect and i removed the metal sleeves from the tps and got my fine tuning adjustments from there. it worked out great and i could really feel a difference in wot feel
