Hello,
Alright heres my question. I have a friend with a 95 250 with 7.3 and needs a new air filter and I said you should do the 6637 because mine has worked great. So today he brings his truck to my house and were going to do it then we popped the hood and to my surprise the intake is nothing like on my 01 X. I know I have seen a 95 on here with the 6637 but I am kinda stumped on how to do this. So if any one could walk me threw this that would be great,
Thanks
Nick
all i did was use a coupler for 3" (outside dia about 4")pvc pipe inside my filter end and the hose off the turbo. i didn't need the 45 degree bend for some reason. i'll take pics and post them in a bit.
You should be able find the 45 elbow at a good muffler shop, if they dont have it they can get it, 4" exhaust is the size to use, but the pvc works pretty well, its what i used and it works good.
It looks like you don't have an angle piece on there. So its ok to tilt the filter like that because I have a piece of 4 inch exhaust that would work just perfect for it?

nope. just a straight coupler. plenty of give in the soft rubber boot to allow it to bend into the opening left by removing the stock airbox.
Napa should have a 4" exhaust 45 on stock...or I'd hope so. It probably won't be a hubxhub but a hubxpipe but it works well. IIRC I trimmed a bit off of the hub end to make it fit into the box area better
