6 CD player problem

My son borrowed my EX for a week end trip. He tried to load some burned CD's into the last two slots. They wouldn't play, and they wouldn't come out. I tried the unit says -Initalizing and CD ERROR. I hit the CD button it says -NO CD. I took the unit out and found the last two where crooked in the rack, go them squared up and put the unit back in and it still is saying the same thing. Radio plays fine, and I hear the CD gears moving around .Any one else had problems getting their CD's out. Thanks for looking.

I've had one or two jamb up in the slot, but not on the inside. The media could be off a little and causing your trouble. Too thick, a little too wide, not consistent, anything.

I had all six cd's get caught and had to literally crack open the unit to get them. The unit is a piece of junk IMO. Get a new aftermarket unit. You'll be better off.

A lot of blank CDs are too thick to use in OEM players.

The OEM radios also don't like CDs with labels attached to them.

I've never had any trouble with any CD, but I have exercised caution in using thin CDs when I do burn them.
