ET probe in manifold or DP?

On my previous PSD I had the pyrometer probe installed in the Downpipe, I have been reading that several people are putting them into the exhaust manifolds. All of the commercial trucks I have driven and worked on have had them in the DP. Although I also understand the reasoning behind installing in the manifold inorder to get a closer look at cylinder temps. My dilemna is that I can't decide which way I want to go on this truck. Any input to help me on this decision would be great.

I would go with the manifold, its much more accurate. I just moved mine from the DP to the manifold a few weeks ago and it was a sinch, took about 10-15 minutes to do it.
