Wake up folks. You usually have a fill page by now. May be you are watching the news on the fall of the finance world. I turn it of as I can't do anything about it.
Hi George, yeah it's scary. The DOW turned around a little bit, was even up for a few minutes, now started down again. It's a wild ride if you're watching it.
What?!?!?!?! how is that awesome?? i do NOT look like that!
oh and good morning.
Come on Brady, that might be a good look for you....

Oil is down to $83/bbl.
I think I can still retire by 85 y/o.
Yeah, that's the only bright spot, oil prices are dropping.

It's all in the market in one way or another. But I own just as many shares today as I did yesterday - and it helps to repeat that over and over.
I am far enough away from retirement to ride it out without too much concern, but I feel for those who are at or near retirement. Lots of people are postponing retirement.
That's right Pat. You and I are about the same age I guess. It's too soon to say when the market will bottom, but it will be a buying opportunity when it does.
Up, till 5 everyday. Back at work now.
This weekend my wife and I have a wedding to attend, well were actually in it. Our bestfriends are getting married @ El Durado park.
That's true Bill. I just keep thinking..long term..long term...long term...I have about 15-16 years before I retire, so I'm not too nervous right now.
i have all my retirement in stocks, i dont even want to know how much it has gone down, i know the $ amount is as much as some of you other guys but it still is a good chunch of change. but i have about 32 years till i want to retire. so i keep putting money in it and buying more stocks every month lets hope it turns around soon and gets back up in the next few years....

You are wise beyond your years getting started this early. I wish I had done so, but I spent my youth with a company that was slow to get into the 401K program. It's still my own fault, not theirs. But I was catching up pretty good until this last quarter.
My biggest fear in all this is inflation. I remember vividly the Carter years and how retirement savings were affected.
