I need to start a new thread about this subject but check into last months "Heavy Duty Trucking" Publication/Magazine. Alot of folks like to buy the CI-4 oils because of the higher TBN. Well, many of the CJ-4 oils are exceeding initail expectations. Customers that switched to to CJ-4 spec oil have actually been able to maintain their extended drain intervals or exceed them. The newer oils are performing very well. But as always, many are reluctant to change.
