Silver-rim aviator glasses from American Optical (the contract for the military).......Been wearing 'em for years......I guess I fell in love with them partly for the reason my Dad was a career Marine aviator........He had the gold-rimmed ones.....

'Bout to buy a new pair.......They're not EXPENSIVE per se, about $46.

I always bought cheap $5.00 sunglasses as I beat the crap out of them also,but then I found a $300.00 pair of Maui Jims and that changed I love these glasses and I am going to send them back to Maui Jim and get perscription lens installed soon as I need a good set of driving glasses.

I wear dark tint and clear safety glasses in my job, so I purchase from a local safety store for $14.00 each and it i buy 3 at a time they sell them for $8.00 each.
PS they have a 1.50 dopler readers for close in work
