Is my egt's high?
I have my tw chip on Daily. i can hit 1,200 degrees, does that seem high to anyone? I'm not sure how high it goes on street race. What about when i get my stage 2 injectors in?

Depends on how long you hold it there at 1200*. A few seconds won't hurt it but a few minutes can be catastrophic.

Sounds about right for your mods.

When you get Stage II injectors if you want to keep temps down, get a bigger intercooler.

Like Ron said.......is this at wide open throttle, or towing....or ? 1200* is nothing if it's only for a short burst. I can peak mine at 1500* rather easily in 140smoke if I'm WOT.......the short bursts won't hurt ya, just don't run it for over 30 seconds or so like that......

1200 at WOT, i just didn't think it would get that hot on the daily setting. How much would a 6.0 intercooler help?

what would i need to put a 6.0 intercooler in? is it a big job?

6.0L intercooler is good for trucks running stock injectors (like mine), but if you are planning to go bigger, I would suggest getting a Spearco or a DI IC. Those will provide a greater temp drop. The 6.0L intercooler is just too small once you go bigger on the fuel.

or i could just get water/meth that would keep the egts down?

Water drops temps, meth adds power. If you are simply trying to cool EGT's down, you would run straight water (or a very small amount of meth mixed in with the water).
