Yeah give or take a few lbs, depends on how heavy you want to go with the deck. Most of the old iron you haul around wont weigh that much either. I think a late 80's ford weighs around that.

The deck can be built fairly light with wood and a steel frame if all your going to haul is older 1/2 tons and other similar sized vehicles, no real need to go over board.

lets say its hauling a load of men to a tradeshow... 72x200lbs...(some will be a lot more, some a tad less...) thats 14400lbs right there. thats 2 pretty big 1/2 ton trucks!!!

Thanks for the math on that sherm, thats exactly what I was getting at before, it should be able to carry alot.
