I'm used to 6-12 mpg... If I could figure out how to make a signature I'd put a few of my trucks on it... vans, trucks, broncos.... 6-12 mpg... haha

I didnt say you did... but it cant be that they just measured the floor longways either... like I said, the long bed floor is 8 feet long. Not 6-10...

OK, the bed may have been a special order...

Heres your answer right here, truck was cobbled together.Ford did not make a 4x4 Dually pickup untill 99.Now before I get a bunch of replies saying they have seen plenty Pre 99 4x4 dually pickups so have I and they are all conversions .

You got somethin there Kahuna... I'd just like to know who did the job... Its a very professional looking job... I've seen alot of conversions, good and bad, and this is definitely a good one.. Whatever else it is its a cool truck and in decent shape.

Conversions can be classics to! Think Centurion...

I didnt get the truck... oh well....

Anyway from what I've been able to gather so far the 4x4 conversion was done by a local company, but I still havent been able to find any info on the bed...

Well even though I didnt get this truck, I am fascinated with the idea now... Sooooooo... I may just build one! I'm looking for an older dually to haul my camper until I can find and build my 'dream' camper rig... once I do that, I was gonna sell the dually, but now if I can find the right one I'll just convert it to a short bed! I know, if only it was that easy.... But I do want to do this eventually... I'll let you know if and when I get started...

good question... Not really sure why, but it's tents and motorhomes only at most tracks... Besides, a truck camper can park in the tent camping, which is MUCH cheaper than RV parking....

at first that sounded funny, bill.....but, have you ever heard of a prediction that America will split into possibly 4 different regions? due to economic reasons and distrust of governmental policies
