Have a 05 screw 4x4, wanted to know if anyone knows where to get 3" rear blocks with bump stops on them? Thanks

eBay. Seller: Auto Springs Corp

sells a 3" block that replaces your stock 1-5/8" block.

no bump stops on the blocks though. These trucks don't have that sort of setup out back.

my 06 has a bump stop setup from the factory.... in fact, my RCD lift came with 5" blocks that have the bumpstop tab bulid into them.

hey mattd17...can we see pics of what you're talking about?

There is that little tab on the side...but the bumpstop is up on the frame-rail itself

here are some pics of my setup...but it's too dark outside to get good pics...and I just happened to have these from something else

you know, now that you mention it, your right...... its been a while since i have had my bumpstops installed since i have airbags on...... if forgot the stop was between the frame and spring pack.

so im guessing that the only reason they are back there would be so that you keep the blocks on the correct sides so the pinion angle is correct?

your guess is as good as mine. maybe they were originally designed like that, and then a change came down...

back to the op though: as I said, there isn't a block with bump stops. You can buy a bigger block (see picture above)...but your factory bump stop will be more than adequate for a stocker or a lifted truck IMO

the auto spring 3"block does not have the tabs for the bump stops to hit on. so if you would use then your bump stops would useless. procomp has a 4" with the tabs, but I would be at square1 with the leveking kit

actually, the way that the bumpstops are mounted on the truck, they go between the bottom of the frame rail, and the top of the spring pack.... so the only useless part is the actual tab on the block itself. i think tylus hit the nail on the head when he said that ford probably made some changes midway through production, and thats why the blocks are the way they are.

what do you mean that you would be at square one with the leveling kit?

My stops are not over the spring pack, but over the tab on the block. In reference to square one i mean if i go with 4" block i'll be back to a 2" rake like stock
