This post has lost it's original thought. "So the Government is spraying theses stripes in the sky to kill us?" Answer: it doesn't seem to be working.

Maybe their not trying to kill us, maybe whatever they're spraying is just to get us to pay taxes or something.

No you got it all wrong, they are NOT trying to kill us. If they killed us who would they have to rule over and do their bidding and give them money and power? No they are spraying to kill our free will and turn this into a a prison planet or slave camp

get it right sheeeesh

"No they are spraying to kill our free will and turn this into a a prison planet or slave camp "

The general public were stupid and gullible long before aircraft were invented.

The public don't require behavior modification because they are lazy and hate thinking in the first place. Prisons and slaves are not healthy for business and so the seeds of their own destruction, while dumb consumers who identify with their own dumbness are an infinite, willing resource.

Myths where something/someone is comfortingly responsible for the human condition are attractive because they explain the big scary world. Even the worst conspiracy theory is more attractive than the unknown.

Chemtrails fit because few people are familiar with aviation. Technology is mysterious voodoo. Having something KNOWN to fear and focus on gives simple people the illusion of control.

Im all in for "whats out there" type stuff too.

What i dont get about these trails, is why no one ever sees the aircraft that makes them.

Maybe I just havent researched into it much. Alot of the pics and videos i have looked at, has just seemed to be normal clouds.

I have seen plenty of airplanes make them. This are usually long sometimes silvery in color sometimes they are not.

I just wish I had such few worries in life that I could worry myself to death over some contrails.

I work outside all day everyday sometimes con trails stick around for a while sometimes they don't. I would guess the jetstream has a lot to do with how long they stay around and particulates stay suspended. But conspiracy theories are a lot easier and more scary to explain them. Jet engines have only been around for what 60 years max? All the sudden people try to compare what they do in their young lifespan to the history of the world.

I see the planes making contrails all the time. Even the dumb video linked a few posts ago shows one plane making a contrail.

Think about it for a sec--the country is wider E-W than it is N-S, so there is more air traffic E-W. Also, the jetstream (air flow in atmosphere) is primarily W-E, so any contrail made roughly parallel to the jetstream will hang around for a while if the temperature and humidity conditions are also correct--either the older portions will be pushed towards the newer (jet traveling from W to E), or it will be "stretched" along its length (jet traveling from E to W).

Keep in mind, too, that the primary byproduct, by far, of the combustion of jet fuel is water, and gasses are roughly 1000 times less dense than fluids or solids. So, one gallon of liquid fuel will produce roughly 1000 gallons of vapor when combusted. Jets carry thousands of gallons of fuel...
