Through Google Search about a Home Made Frame Machine I came across a thread you had posted in 2006 and was curious if you ever attempted to build your own and what you had came up with if anything. I have been interested in Champ Spider or Versa Puller to rebuild wrecked vehicles as a hobby.

Good afternoon sir, I have a 94 ranger 2.3 timing belt in tact but slow hard cranking. I removed all parts to take off front timing cover. Your pics are the only ones that I have seen anywhere online that show the gears with the inner marking rather than the diamond or triangle. Before i go but a haynes or chiltons for this truck... which do you think has the most accurate pics and info? I have no diamonds or triangles on my gears or rear plastic timing cover. Aftermarket would have these things no? Once again, your pic is the only one that shows the plastic molded piece just below the cam gear, with the notches, lining up to the inner gear tooth mark.

Do you know where I can get the spring for the tensioner on a Ford 2300 Ranger engine? Part number would help?

No big problems, I'd certainly do it again, but be CAREFUL with the delicate wire connectors when removing the 1997 harness.

    Just review this post:

    '02 4.2 to replace '97 Hydrolocked engine -

The motor mounts are the same.

I read a post that you had put a 2000 4.2 engine in a 97 4.2 truck. Are there any big problems that you ran in to? I'm putting a one from a 99 in my 97. Are you motor mounts the same? I've never swapped any engine, so any advice would be great.
